How to mount your TV on the wall
Before you start, a few tools like the below are needed apart from the wall bracket for your TV
Tape to measure.
Screws and screwdriver.
Marker or Pen.
Choosing a Wall mount: A wall bracket is the one that holds the Tv on the wall. There are many brackets available based on the TV type, wall type and the weight of your TV. Once you have selected a wall bracket, you will have to fix that to the TV as well as the wall. There are two types of mounts, stationary and swivel. A standard mount will keep the TV attached in a position on the wall. An adjustable TV mount can be swiveled, and you can move the TV to various angles as per your seating position.
Location and viewing height:
Take a cardboard, cut it to the size of your TV and choose and hang it in the location you want.
Fix the cardboard with tape. View the cardboard in different angles to check whether the placement is correct.
The TV should be placed in a place where the visibility is excellent from all areas of the living room.
Mount the TV at a comfortable height and a place close to electrical points so that the wire does not hang out.
Drill holes: Mark with a pencil the holes where the Tv needs to be placed. Remove the paper, mark holes at the bottom as well as the top of each mounting arms. Ensure that the holes are equidistant from each mounting arm.
Position the mount: The wall mount should be held against the wall and ensure it is placed even. Double check the levels before drilling holes to set the mount. Use a drill to drive holes for the screws of brackets. Place the bracket plate and bolt it to the wall. Drive the screws in through the wrench.
Attach mounting to TV: Remove any stand that is attached to the frame, there will be mounting holes which are used to connect the arms of the mount. Take care not to overtighten the screws. Put the TV on a flat surface with the screen upwards. Attach the cables for audio and video to the TV and place it on the mounting arm on the wall. Confirm that the TV is attached securely to the wall mount and make necessary adjustments if needed. Tug it a few times to see if it secured against the wall. See if the TV connections are all working fine if you need to make any changes remove it from the wall.
